Author Event at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock, Georgia

Posted by on Mar 31, 2015 in Future | 0 comments

I’ll be at FoxTale Book Shoppe in Woodstock, Georgia, this Friday, April 3rd, at 6:30 p.m. If you live in the area, please stop by. I’ll be there with some other authors, and we’d love to see you. FoxTale Book Shoppe holds a lot of events for authors and readers, and if you’ve never been there, I highly recommend you check them out. It’s truly an amazing place for book lovers.

I recently had an author from New York mention FoxTale on Twitter. She travels all over the country on book tours, and when she noticed I live in the Atlanta area, she started a conversation with me regarding her signing at FoxTale. Debut authors, along with big-name authors, visit Foxtale.

Woodstock, Georgia, is a small town near Atlanta, and you can find FoxTale Book Shoppe directly on the main street, along with a variety of quaint restaurants. You can make it a date night or girls’ night out. You can even make it a family night, as I’m sure your little ones would love to browse a bookstore and meet some authors. What a great way to teach your children the love of reading!

I hope to see you there. The address is 105 East Main Street #138, Woodstock, Georgia.

Atlanta Festival and Book Signing this Saturday

Posted by on Dec 10, 2014 in Future | 0 comments

If  you’re in the Atlanta area this Saturday, December 13,  Truly Living Well is hosting a Holiday Farmer’s Market Bazaar and Literacy for the Season Book Village. I’ll be at the book village (along with other local authors), and I’d love for you to stop by. The festivities will be held at the Wheat Street Garden, and the address is 75 Hilliard Street NE, Atlanta, Georgia.

While there, you can tour the lights in the garden and do some Christmas shopping at the many booths available. I will be at the book village from noon until dusk on Saturday. The lights of service begin at dusk and ends at 9:00 p.m.

The activities are free and open to the public, and it’s a family friendly event. It’s also a great way to learn about the Wheat Street Garden. I have never been but have heard great things and look forward to learning more this weekend.

If you’re looking for unique and personal gifts, there will be a variety of authors and crafters at the event. Signed books and handcrafted items are some of the best gifts you can give to someone. I hope to see you there!

Many Georgia romance authors will be there for the Moonlight and Magnolias conference being held that weekend, and if you live in the area, you should stop by and see us. The book fair is free and open to the public, and a portion of all book sales benefits Georgia Literacy. At the fair you can meet some Georgia romance authors, buy some signed books, and purchase tickets to win author baskets.

So grab some friends, stop by the book fair, and then head out to a nice restaurant afterwards. I promise you’ll have fun!

You can go to the Georgia Romance Writers’ website for a listing of participating authors. I hope to see you there!
